Crowder furiously slams fans for cheering opponent

The Boston Celtics are a very good NBA team, but they're probably one star away from being an elite squad.

Boston fans know this, so it sounds like they're already trying to recruit potential free agents. On Tuesday night, they apparently greeted Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward - who just so happens to have played for Celtics head coach Brad Stevens at Butler - with some cheers.

Here's where it gets hairy: The Celtics already have a small forward - and a pretty solid one at that - in Jae Crowder. And Crowder wasn't happy about what went down.

How did Crowder respond? With 21 points and five of six from beyond the arc. Oh, and he sent this tweet:

It's now gotten to the point where Boston fans are trying to put out the fire:

If Crowder keeps playing with that same fire, maybe some of those Boston fans will rethink those cheers.
