Twitter reacts to Rams hiring young Sean McVay

Sean McVay is only 30 years old.

On the same day that the San Diego Chargers announced that they'll be moving to Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Rams named 30-year-old Sean McVay as their head coach. So after Twitter cracked tons of jokes about the Chargers' "LA" logo, people moved on to joking/being amazed at how young the Rams' new coach is.

The Rams Wire put together a list of some NFL players who are older than McVay, who is the youngest coach in league history, and Twitter pointed out more crazy facts - like how McVay won't be the same age as Pete Carroll is now until 2052. Here they are:

Here's what Rams owner Stan Kroenke said about the hiring, per USA TODAY Sports:

"This is an exciting day for the Los Angeles Rams as we welcome Sean McVay as our new head coach," Rams owner Stan Kroenke said in a release. "The accomplishments and success that he has rendered in less than a decade in our league are remarkable. I am confident in his vision to make this team a consistent winner and to ultimately bring a Super Bowl title home to Los Angeles."
