Earl Thomas calls out Tom Brady on Twitter

Earl Thomas does not think too highly of the AFC. While Thomas was presumably watching Brock Osweiler throw the Texans out of the playoffs agaisnt the Patriots, the injured Seahawks safety fired off a hot take that would make Skip Bayless blush.

But if Thomas is implying that Brady would not be as good or put up the same kind of numbers if he were in the NFC West, he is flat out wrong. Just look at his career numbers against the AFC East compared to those against the NFC West:

Not all that different, right?

Yes, the NFC West has been much better than the AFC East of late but that wasn't always the case. There was a time not too long ago when the NFC West was the worst division in the NFL. At around the same time, the Jets were serious contenders in the AFC, and Brady was doing just fine.
