Thunder big man Enes Kanter left the game against the Mavericks early on Thursday night after he was seen frustratedly punching a chair on the bench in the second quarter.

As the game was still going on, ESPN's Royce Young and The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Thunder feared the injury could actually be serious.

Update: After the game, OKC head coach Billy Donovan told reporters that Kanter fractured his right forearm.

It's just yet another reminder that throwing punches also hurts your own hand. Although, in this case, it looks like Kanter meant to harmlessly punch the chair cushion and it all went wrong.

The Thunder went on the beat the Mavericks, 109-98, behind 45 points from Russell Westbrook. Kanter has been averaging 14.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
