Elliott proves dodgeball game means more than Pro Bowl

Andrew Joseph
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (21) reacts after they won at dodgeball during the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown at Wide World of Sports.

The Pro Bowl is broken, and can't be fixed. And that's OK because the Pro Bowl Skills Challenge dodgeball game is a thing now.

It's already more meaningful than the actual Pro Bowl.

The NFC defeated the AFC team in this highly entertaining game of dodgeball on Thursday in Orlando. The NFC dominated the game, winning with multiple players left. Once the AFC's T.Y. Hilton made for the game-clinching elimination, the NFC team went absolutely crazy. Really, look at Ezekiel Elliott.

The entire NFC team spilled onto the field while Elliott ran around shirtless like a madman. You think you'll see that kind of celebration after the Pro Bowl? No way. At most, you'll see a few handshakes. Maybe a jersey exchange. But certainly not that. That celebration was fantastic.

I can't hate on that dodgeball game, especially since the players actually cared.
