Kendrick Perkins says Warriors shouldn't pick a battle with him

Kendrick Perkins had a warning for the Warriors before Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Even though Perkins has been inactive on the Cavaliers bench, the vet has still be involved in the playoffs. He trash-talked Drake in the conference semifinals, was mocked by Draymond Green during Game 1 of the Finals, and, most recently, Steph Curry seemed irked by the fact that Perkins' legs got in his way after a shot in Game 2.

While talking to The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn, Perkins said that he doesn't know "why people keep wanting to pick battles this way. Might want to choose that (expletive) wisely, man, (rather) than (expletive) with me. I don't think I'm the problem that they want, though, might want to pick another battle."

In his press conference after Game 2, Curry told reporters his brief run-in with Perkins was "much ado about nothing." However, ESPN's Chris Haynes reported that Warriors players told him they believed the play was dangerous and that Curry could've injured himself on Perkins' legs (though - as you can see - Perkins never moved his legs).

Perkins told Washburn he didn't understand what he was supposed to do when Curry was the one who landed on his leg, but he has now made it clear what could happen if the Warriors continue to mess with him.

Game 3 is on Wednesday. It'll air on ABC starting at 9 p.m. ET. The Warriors have a 2-0 series lead over the Cavs.
