Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will wear custom cleats to honor the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting today. They feature the Steelers logo altered with the Star of David and the words "Stronger than hate."

He is friendly with Michele Rosenthal, whose brothers Cecil and David were among the 11 slaughtered in the late-October shooting that rocked the close-knit Squirrel Hill neighborhood. The well-known and well-liked brothers were remembered at a service last week.

The Penguins have also taken steps to honor the victims of the shooting, while Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr lamented how "broken" the country is in its wake.
