New Orleans newspaper casts shade with perfect Super Bowl cover

New Orleans won't let go of the anger surrounding the Saints' failed trip to the Super Bowl.

There was the giant protest with a second-line parade that was meant to feel like a funeral after referees didn't call interference on Los Angeles Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman when he arrived early to hit Saints receiver TommyLee Lewis, the non-call that cost Who Dat Nation a trip to the Super Bowl.

So the Times-Picayune - which put up the perfect cover after the NFC Champion game - went and summed it all up with a shade-filled cover for Monday's newspaper.

"Super Bowl? What Super Bowl?"

As a reminder, "REFFING UNBELIEVABLE" was the cover two weeks ago.

There was another amazing cover to look at Monday morning:

In hindsight, maybe we all should have joined that massive Saints fan protest in the hopes Drew Brees and Co. would have delivered a much better Super Bowl.
