Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins had the perfect reply to his own tweet that had angered Vikings fans

Kirk Cousins is quickly becoming my second favorite quarterback in the NFL. I'm from Boston, so there's no way he's going to take the top spot, but I'm really starting to love what he does ... on Twitter.

He's pretty good on the field, too, though Minnesota Vikings fans probably wish he was a little better last year in his first season of an $84 million deal.

Cousins has had some fun on Twitter lately that probably went the opposite way that he likely expected it to go.

Like this tweet from Monday night that poor, innocent Kirk Cousins probably didn't think would cause any issues with Vikings fans:

Yeah, that didn't go over well at all, as chilly Vikings fans yelled at him to stay in warm Florida if that's what he liked so much.

But then he later followed that up with this reply, showing he's comfortable having fun at his own expense, which is a trait many more people (especially on Twitter) should have:

It's perfection. No PR team, no fake apology ... just a good ol' "Anchorman" gif that perfectly summed up the situation.

And fans loved it.
