The Chicago Bears had a disastrous night against the Vikings

The Chicago Bears have issues. Like, really big issues.

Most of us already knew that going into Monday night's home game against the Vikings but now those issues are very well defined and easy to see by just about everyone, many of whom had fun roasting Chicago's awful play calls late in the game.

Late last week head coach Matt Nagy handed over the play-calling duties to offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, a move that surprised a lot of people.

So how did that change work out? Not well at all.

NFL STATS CENTRAL: The latest NFL scores, schedules, odds, stats and more.

In the third quarter the Bears' offense had minus-2 yards.

Yikes.

On a key drive in the final minutes of the fourth quarter the Bears were facing a 3rd and 5 in Vikings territory and… chose to throw a pass well behind the line of scrimmage that led to a 4-yard loss.

Brutal.

The Bears' offense was dreadful in the 19-13 loss. Chicago's only touchdown of the game came on a kickoff return by the great Cordarrelle Patterson.

Nick Foles was terrible in the game and unfortunately was carted off the field after being slammed to the ground in the final minute. Hopefully he's OK but the Bears have serious issues at quarterback.

Remember a few weeks ago when Chicago was off to a 5-1 start and just about everyone was saying they were a very bad 5-1 team?

Well, now they've lost four straight games and are looking exactly the way many of us saw them.

The Bears now have a bye week before facing the Packers at Lambeau in Week 12. That game is currently a Sunday night game but hopefully the league does what's right and doesn't make us have to watch the Bears in primetime again.

Because none of us deserve that.
