The Rams have been a total bust since going all in

For The Win

This is the Morning Win, by Andy Nesbitt.

Remember four weeks ago when the Los Angeles Rams traded for Von Miller and everyone waxed poetic about how Sean McVay's team was going all in and that they were the clear favorites to run away win the Lombardi Trophy?

Then remember shortly thereafter when they picked up Odell Beckham Jr. and those predictions only ramped up for a team that entered November with a 7-1 record and seemed poised to be the best team in not only the NFC but in the entire league?

Well, yeah, those things are not working out at all right now for the Rams. In fact, it has been quite the opposite.

The Rams went to Lambeau Field yesterday and lost to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, 36-28. It was their third straight loss and it clinched a winless November for them - three loses and a bye week.

Now the Rams find themselves at 7-4, two games behind the Cardinals in the NFC West, and dropping in the NFC playoff race.

Things are not good for LA, not good at all.

Matthew Stafford was a MVP candidate early on but has struggled mightily during this losing streak. Yesterday he threw a pick six in his third straight game, which is anything but ideal. There are reports that he's playing with soreness in his throwing shoulder and has other ailments that most QBs would be suffering from 12 weeks into a NFL season but still, he hasn't been great lately.

Miller has zero sacks in the two games he's played with his new team and has been a non-factor thus far in LA.

OBJ caught his first TD pass yesterday but he hasn't yet been able to be a game-changer that Rams fans hoped he could be when the team picked him up. You have to think OBJ will become more of a factor the more time he has with Stafford and his new offense but right now things are pretty far from great for the WR.

The Rams have clearly missed wide receiver Robert Woods, whose season ended with a knee injury just a day after OBJ was added to the team. Woods was the glue guy on offense and did so much for them in so many different ways and they desperately need to find a way to regroup without him.

Thankfully for the Rams they get a gift this week - they get to host the Jaguars. That's pretty much always just what a team needs to get help kickstart things into a positive direction.

After that, though, things ramp up again. They play the Cardinals (on the road), Seahawks, Vikings (on the road), Ravens (on the road), and 49ers. None of those games feel like a sure thing right now.

The Rams were supposed to be a Dream Team heading into December. Instead, they're currently a disappointing team and are in danger of experiencing an epic collapse that doesn't end with a trophy but rather with people laughing at them.

Crazy how much things can change in a month.
