Michael Phelps lands on the cover of Golf Digest

• Phelps will share covers with Bill Clinton, Michael J. Fox and Morgan Freeman
• Gold medalist says he's struggling with the game
• Olympian will still teach children

Putting the world's greatest swimmer on a magazine cover isn't anything new. Putting him in golf clothes just might be.

Michael Phelps, winner of more gold medals than any athlete in Olympic history, will grace the cover of the December issue of Golf Digest.

Phelps, who has retired from competition but still teaches children, will be among four different cover subjects -- along with Bill Clinton, Morgan Freeman and Michael J. Fox -- for a a feature entitled "Game Changers: Golfers Who Give Back."

The story covers the charity work of the four golfers along with 20 other famous amateurs.

The Olympian recently took up the game and admits to struggling to master the fundamentals. He jokingly said the only way he would compete at the Olympics again was in golf.
