NAPLES, Fla. – It should come as no surprise that Beatriz Recari made a strong move in Saturday's third round of the season-ending CME Group Titleholders.

She's been on the move all year.

The spunky, 5-5 Spaniard has played in every LPGA event, 28 in all that touched down in 13 countries. She's wrapping up a stretch of six tournaments in as many weeks at the Titleholders. Then, after a brief respite in her U.S.-based home in Orlando, she'll play one more event in Taiwan in December before the New Year arrives.

And still, Recari, affectionately called Iron Woman by many of her peers, said she'll miss not playing next week.

"I don't look at this as work. I love competition, I love tournaments and I love playing," said Recari, whose 4-under-par 68, which included eight birdies, moved her up eight spots into a tie for eighth, five shots behind pace-setting Na Yeon Choi. "Next week I'm probably going to miss not playing. On Monday I'm going to be very sad because next season doesn't start until next February. I just love getting up and working out and practicing and playing."

Recari, who has moved from No. 73 to No. 63 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings this season, is one of just three players who have not missed a cut, been disqualified or withdrawn from a tournament this year. The other two -- Karrie Webb and Jiyai Shin -- played in 19 and 17 events, respectively. Recari didn't miss one cut this season and has banked nearly $430,000.

The key to her globe-trotting ways, Recari said, starts with what you put into your body. And then how you take care of your body.

"I really take good care of my diet. I don't drink soft drinks, I don't eat dessert and I don't eat fried food. I eat what is the right energy for my body," said Recari, 256, whose lone LPGA Tour win came in the 2010 CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge.

For instance, after grabbing a share of the first-round lead at this year's LPGA Championship in New York, Recari delivered one of the best lines of the year when she acknowledged that sushi from a local food market was a key to her strong start.

"If you give good fuel to your Ferrari, your Ferrari responds," she said. "Give the Ferrari the cheap fuel and it's not going to go as fast."

Fruits are also among her favorites. Add honey to the list, too.

And a relationship she started in March also has helped Recari travel tens of thousands of miles this year and play in every round. Recari started working out with Kai Fusser, who used to be Annika Sorenstam's fitness coach.

"My endurance has been a good factor," Recari said. "Even though we just started in March, and we're just doing season training and pretty basic stuff, I've already increased 10 yards with my irons and 20 yards with my driver.

"I felt so great that looking into the last six tournaments in a row, I knew I would be fine. I feel better than ever. Technically, my game has never been better because of the work I do with my coach, Tom Creavy. I've never been better physically. And I'm really looking forward to next year because I'm going to have a chance to train in the winter, which I didn't do last year."

Thirty golf tournaments, practice sessions and workouts during those weeks and in all the off weeks might sound like Recari has nothing else to do. But there is life for Recari off the golf course. She's an engaging personality who can have fun sightseeing, at a sporting event, in a shopping mall or just doing her best couch potato.

"In my down time, I just love to chill," she said. "You have no idea how great it feels to wake up and just put on jeans and a T-shirt. That feels so good. It's the small things that are so huge when you are home."
