Itā€™s time: The USA TODAY High School Sports Awards national show, hosted by Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski, airs at 8 p.m. tonight

Tonight is the night.  

After 105 local and state programs naming the top student athletes across the country, tonight is the night to find out who will take home national titles. 

The USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, presented by theā€ÆU.S. Polo Assn., will air its first national show at 8 p.m. EDT tonight with hostsā€ÆMichael Strahan, co-host of "Good Morning America" and Pro Football Hall of Famer, andā€ÆRob Gronkowski, tight end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The awards show will honor elite student-athletes in 27 sports, including a new award for polo.

From more than 1,000 honorees in 50 states, find out who the Athlete of the Year is in sports including baseball, softball, basketball, hockey, swimming, football, lacrosse, soccer and many more. And donā€™t miss premier awards, including the Special Olympics Athlete of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Coach and Team of the Year, as well as the overall Female and Male Athletes of the Year.

DJ Khaled, award-winning recording artist, and ESPN'sā€ÆCharly Arnoltā€Æwill host the Kohlā€™s Red Carpet where they'll interview high school athletes from around the country. 

Other professional talent who will be a part of the show include Shaquille Oā€™Neal, Sue Bird, Chipper Jones, Aaron Rodgers and Alex Morgan. Recent Tokyo Olympic gold medal swimmer Katie Ledecky will also be featured.  

The show is free to watch and can be found on the Sports Awards website, YouTube and the USA TODAY News and USA TODAY SportsWire Channels, available on Roku, Samsung, Tubi, and most smart televisions. 

There will be stories of overcoming adversity, and of accomplishing feats that many never imagined possible. Mark your calendars and join in for night to remember.
