Bees delay Diamondbacks-Giants game

Bees swarm in the outfield as Giants outfielder Hunter Pence warms up.

Bronson Arroyo got one batter into his Arizona Diamondbacks debut before play had to be stopped – not by injury, but by bees.

After San Francisco Giants leadoff hitter Angel Pagan flew out to A.J. Pollock in center to start the game, play halted as Pollock discovered bees swarming by the Fry's sign on the wall in center.

Play was halted only a for a few minutes, but long enough for the Chase Field organist to play "Flight of the Bumblebee" and for the public announcer to kick in with snippets of "Let it Be" and "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
