Brewers' Ramirez leaves with bruised elbow

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Milwaukee third baseman Aramis Ramirez left the Brewers' game against the St. Louis Cardinals in the seventh inning Monday night with a bruised left elbow after he was hit by a pitch from reliever Pat Neshek.

Ramirez ran the bases in the top of the inning, but was replaced by Mark Reynolds in the field at the bottom of the inning.

The team announced that X-rays were negative, and Ramirez is day to day.
