Helio Castroneves' drive for fifth Indy 500: 'Indianapolis, it brings out the best in me'

INDIANAPOLIS – Helio Castroneves has always been one of the most emotional drivers on the IndyCar grid, but very rarely has the 47-year-old publicly been moved to tears. It took his two most unexpected Indianapolis 500 victories – the first repeat the track had seen in more than 30 years in 2002 and the first win in Meyer Shank Racing history in 2021 — to leave the Brazilian racing superstar doubled over atop the outside wall near the Yard of Bricks.
