Joey Logano will lead the field to green for Sunday's STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. — It's NASCAR race day at Martinsville Speedway, and we've got all the information you need to enjoy Sunday's STP 500 Sprint Cup Series race.

START TIME: Criminal Minds actress AJ Cook will give the command to fire engines at 1:07 p.m. ET today, followed by the green flag at 1:13 p.m. So if you want to skip the pre-race show and just tune in for the race, turn on your television at 1:13 p.m.

RACE DISTANCE: The STP 500 is not 500 miles but rather 500 laps around the 0.526-mile Martinsville Speedway. That's a total of just 263 miles, making this one of the shortest races of the season in terms of distance.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: True to the traditions of Martinsville Speedway, the STP 500 will feature a retro-themed national anthem as the US Air Force Heritage Brass Band Quintet will do the honors.

TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: Fox Sports 1 will broadcast today's race while the Motor Racing Network (MRN) will have the radio play-by-play.

WEATHER: Sunday’s forecast calls for somewhat cool temperatures but an otherwise perfect spring day -- sunny skies with a high of 61 degrees and no chance of rain.

LAST TIME: Jeff Gordon secured the final win of his legendary career last November -- one of the many byproducts of Matt Kenseth intentionally crashing a dominant Joey Logano in the closing stages of the race. The  decision stemmed from an incident earlier in the playoffs and resulted in a two-race suspension for the 2003 Sprint Cup champion. And one year ago, Denny Hamlin scored the fifth win of his career at Martinsville despite a big final-lap shove from Brad Keselowski.

STARTING LINEUP: Logano won the pole Friday with a speed of 97.043 mph. It was his third consecutive pole at Martinsville, something that hasn't been done since 2003-2004 by Gordon.
