BRISTOL, Tenn. — It’s NASCAR race day at Bristol Motor Speedway, and we’ve got all the information you need to get ready for today’s Sprint Cup Series race.

START TIME: NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace will instruct drivers to start their engines at 1:07 p.m. Eastern time today, followed by the green flag at 1:13 p.m. So if you want to skip the pre-race show and just tune in for the race, turn on your TV at 1:07.

RACE DISTANCE: The Food City 500 is not 500 miles, of course, but 500 laps around the 0.533-mile Bristol Motor Speedway. That's a total of 266.5 miles, to be exact.

NATIONAL ANTHEM/FLYOVER: Country music singer Clare Dunn, a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan, is singing the national anthem today. The flyover is a pair of A-10s from Moody Air Force Base in Georgia.

TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: Fox will broadcast the race on TV and has a pre-race show beginning at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) and Sirius/XM Radio will call the race on the radio.

LIVE STREAMING: Fox is offering a live stream through its Fox Sports Go app.

WEATHER: Beautiful. The National Weather Service is calling for a lovely spring day with sunny skies and a high of 73 degrees.
