NASCAR Bristol 2019: Schedule, lineup, TV and weather information for Food City 500

It’s race day at Bristol Motor Speedway, and we've got all the information you need to get ready for Sunday's Food City 500, the eighth race in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series:

START TIME: 2 p.m. ET. GREEN FLAG: 2:08 p.m. ET.

NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Bobby Allison will instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:02 p.m. ET. Hall-of-Famer Darrell Waltrip, who announced Thursday that he will be retiring from the Fox broadcast booth this summer, will wave the green flag.

TV: Fox Sports 1. Pre-race broadcast begins at 12:30 p.m. ET.

RADIO: Performance Racing NetworkSTREAMING: Fox Sports Go.

RACE DISTANCE: 500 laps around the 0.533-mile track for a total of 266.5 miles.

STAGE LENGTHS (laps per stage): Stage 1: 125, Stage 2: 125, Stage 3: 250.

Chase Elliott will start on the pole for the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Country recording artist and musician Karen Waldrup will perform the anthem at 1:55 p.m ET, followed by a flyover by four T-38’s from the 469th Flying Training Squadron of Shepherd Air Force Base in Wichita, Texas.

WEATHER: Iffy. The Weather Channel is calling for a 35 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms for the race's start, with that percentage increasing up to 50 percent by 5 p.m., before transitioning to cloudy skies with rain under 15 percent the rest of the night.

LAST TIME: Kurt Busch won the Bristol Night Race last August, edging Kyle Larson by 0.367 seconds to win for the sixth time at the track. And one year ago, Kyle Busch earned his seventh win at Bristol after leading 117 laps and beating Larson by 0..628 seconds.

LINEUP: Chase Elliott earned his first pole on a short track and the fifth of his Cup Series career. William Byron qualified second to put Hendrick Motorsports on the front row for the second consecutive week after taking the top three spots in qualifying at Texas.
