NASCAR at Homestead-Miami 2021: Start time, lineup, TV schedule and more for Dixie Vodka 400

The 2021 NASCAR season has gotten off to a surprising start with two first-time Cup Series winners in the first two races.

Underdog Michael McDowell opened the season by winning the Daytona 500 after  escaping a big last-lap crash ignited by Brad Keselowski — making a move for the win — and his Penske teammate and late leader Joey Logano. One week later, Christopher Bell pulled off a stunner in his second season in NASCAR's premier series, passing Logano coming to the white flag on the Daytona road course.

So, what will race No. 3 bring?

Here's all the information you need to get ready for Sunday's Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway:

START TIME: 3:30 p.m. ET.

TV: Fox. Pre-race broadcast begins at 3 p.m. ET.

RADIO: Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

STREAMING: Fox Sports Go (must have TV provider) and FOX Sports app, YouTube TV (2-week free trial), Hulu + Live TV (7-day free trial), Sling TV (3-day free trial), fuboTV (7-day free trial).

RACE DISTANCE: 267 laps around the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami Speedway for a total of 400 miles.

STAGE LENGTHS (laps per stage): Stage 1: 80, Stage 2: 80, Stage 3: 107.

Denny Hamlin celebrates after winning the 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

LAST TIME: Denny Hamlin dominated the race on June 14, 2020, leading 137 of 267 laps, including the last 30. Hamlin edged Chase Elliott by 0.895 seconds for his third career win (also 2009 and 2013) at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

QUALIFYING: There was no on-track qualifying for the Dixie Vodka 400. Instead, the lineup was determined by using NASCAR’s new competition-based formula:

  • 25 percent: Driver’s finishing position from the previous race
  • 25 percent: Car owner’s finishing position from the previous race
  • 35 percent: Team owner points ranking
  • 15 percent: Fastest lap from the previous race

LINEUP: Hamlin, who finished third last week behind Bell, earned the pole and will lead the field to green alongside Logano, who finished second.
