Kevin Love reacts the only way you can after Ja Morant's epic almost-poster dunk

Ja Morant put Aron Baynes on a poster last week. On Friday, he tried to put Kevin Love in a morgue.

Or, as Love wrote on Twitter, Morant "almost ended my professional career."

The Memphis Grizzlies' star rookie leaped over Love on a first-quarter dunk attempt in Friday's 114-107 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers. It could have been one of history's great dunks, if only Morant had finished it.

Ultimately, his attempt clanged off the back of the rim and play continued without a foul call as Love and Morant both tumbled to the floor. Social media predictably went wild for Morant's near-poster.

The huge try signaled once again that Morant remains fearless, even after a hard fall led to an early-season struggle with back spasms that forced him to miss four games.

Morant finished with eight points and 11 assists against the Cavaliers, failing to reach 10 points for the first time since a Nov. 11 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Love, a five-time All-Star, left impressed anyway.

"That kid is something special," he wrote in his Twitter post.
