NBA and Nike unveil City Edition uniforms for all 30 teams to honor 75th anniversary season

The NBA announced Monday that it has partnered with Nike to create City Edition uniforms for all 30 franchises to honor the league's 75th anniversary season.

Every season, NBA teams have different City Edition jerseys that highlight something unique to the culture of the market the team plays in, or reflect part of the respective franchise's history. This year's editions look to showcase memorable eras from each team's past, whether it's championship runs, nods to their expansion uniforms or specific player performances.

The league unveiled images of each of the 30 jerseys in a post on Twitter.

Nike has been the NBA's uniform partner since 2017 and has seen the popularity of the City Edition alternate jerseys rise in recent seasons.

The announcement comes on the 75th anniversary of the playing of the first-ever NBA game, which was between the New York Knicks and the Toronto Huskies.
