Did Kevin Knox tip New York Knicks pick before NBA draft?

NorthJersey
Kevin Knox, a forward out of Kentucky, is interviewed after being selected as the number nine overall pick by the New York Knicks in the first round of the 2018 NBA draft at the Barclays Center.

The New York Knicks' draft curtain finally was drawn back Thursday, as they took Kevin Knox with the No. 9 pick in the NBA draft.

Knox was one of several targets linked to the Knicks leading up to the draft, along with players like Mo Bamba, Miles Bridges, Mikal Bridges, Wendell Carter Jr., Collin Sexton and Trae Young. However, it seemed nobody could nail down just who the pick would be.

Knox may have taken care of that himself, as he appeared to have slipped when discussing the Knicks with Hot 97 radio hosts Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg:

The Kentucky product averaged 15.6 points per game while hitting 34 percent of his threes in his lone college season. He joins Kristaps Porzingis and Frank Ntilikina as the third straight top-10 pick for New York.
