Houston Baptist routs Ecclesia 98-47

HOUSTON (AP) — Colter Lasher scored 15 points and three other Houston Baptist players reached double figures in a 98-47 rout of NCCAA member Ecclesia on Tuesday night.

Caleb Crayton had 13 points, and Reveal Chukwujekwu and Cody Stetler chipped in 12 apiece for the Huskies, who shot 37 of 68 for 54.4 percent from the field.

Josh Ibarra grabbed 11 rebounds, Stetler had seven and Chukwujekwu pulled down six boards for Houston Baptist, which outrebounded Ecclesia 53-21. Ibarra also dished out four of the Huskies' 19 assists.

Houston Baptist (5-5) opened on a 27-6 run to build a 39-22 halftime lead. Lasher had a dunk and drained a 3 to help the Huskies stretch their lead to 50-26 with 15:05 remaining.

Wesley Bradford and D.J. Wallace each scored 14 points to lead Ecclesia.
