FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Bryson Scott scored 18 points and John Konchar made the go-ahead free throw with 1:19 left in overtime to give IPFW a stunning 71-68 upset over No. 3 Indiana on Tuesday night.

DeAngelo Stewart hit two free throws with 2.9 seconds left and Konchar picked off the ensuing inbounds pass to seal the biggest win in school history. Konchar finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Mastodons (3-2), who moved up from Division II to Division I in 2001-02, had lost all nine previous games against ranked teams and hadn't even played a Top 25 opponent in nearly four years. But on their home court, with crimson-and-cream-clad Hoosiers fans all around, Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne trailed for only 90 seconds against an in-state power and pulled off the biggest stunner of this young college basketball season.

Indiana (3-1) was led by Thomas Bryant with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

The Hoosiers forced overtime by closing regulation on a 13-3 spurt to make it 65-all. They allowed only two baskets in the final 14½ minutes.

No. 4 NORTH CAROLINA 107, OKLAHOMA ST. 75

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Joel Berry III scored 24 points, Justin Jackson added 22 and North Carolina steamrolled its way into the Maui Invitational championship game with a victory over Oklahoma State.

North Carolina (6-0) dominated the Cowboys from the start, building a 12-point lead in the opening 4 1/2 minutes. The Tar Heels kept their foot down, shooting 57 percent and going 8 of 17 from 3-point range while smothering Oklahoma State at the other end.

Next up is No. 16 Wisconsin in Wednesday's championship game for a chance at their fourth Maui Invitational title. North Carolina won two national titles and reached the Final Four after its previous three Maui championships.

Oklahoma State (4-1) managed to harass its first four opponents into numerous mistakes with its pressure defense, but was picked apart by the long, athletic Tar Heels.

Jawun Evans had 30 points but got little help from his teammates on the offensive end. The Cowboys shot 36 percent and were 6 of 22 from 3-point range.

No. 5 KANSAS 65, GEORGIA 54

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Frank Mason III had 19 points, Josh Jackson added 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Kansas turned to its zone defense to beat Georgia in the CBE Classic championship game.

Devonte Graham added 14 points for the Jayhawks (4-1), who won their third consecutive in-season tournament title and second CBE Classic. They also won the event in 2012.

Yante Maten had 30 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (3-2), but they were done in by 3-for-18 shooting from the perimeter, equally lousy foul shooting and turnovers that led to easy runouts.

J.J. Frazier, who had been averaging 19 points per game, was held to two on 1-for-10 shooting.

No. 7 VIRGINIA 90, GRAMBLING STATE 34

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Freshman guard Kyle Guy scored 20 points in 13 minutes, and Virginia ran off 26 consecutive points to end the first half against Grambling State.

Guy, who was Mr. Basketball in Indiana last season, shot 6 of 7 from the floor, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range, for the Cavaliers (4-0). Virginia coach Tony Bennett removed him with 10:51 remaining and started substituting with walk-ons very early.

Marcel Thompson led Grambling State (1-3) with eight points.

Marial Shayok and Darius Thompson added 12 points apiece for Virginia.

No. 13 OREGON 69, TENNESSEE 65, OT

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Dillon Brooks hit a long 3-pointer with 22 seconds left in overtime and scored 17 points, lifting Oregon over Tennessee at the Maui Invitational.

Oregon (3-2) shot poorly in a loss to Georgetown in its Maui opener and continued to struggle on Day 2. The Ducks shot 34 percent, including 5 of 17 from 3-point range, and had 21 turnovers.

Brooks carried Oregon in his second game back from offseason foot surgery, playing well at both ends before hitting the long 3 and one of two free throws to seal it.

Tennessee (1-3), which lost to No. 16 Wisconsin in its tournament opener, had 25 turnovers and shot 37 percent. But the Volunteers tied it at 56 on Shembari Philips' two free throws with 30 seconds left.

Detrick Mostella led Tennessee with 22 points.

No. 15 SAINT MARY'S 81, SAN JOSE STATE 64

MORAGA, Calif. (AP) — Jock Landale scored 24 points and didn't miss a shot until 6:49 remained, and Saint Mary's beat Bay Area neighbor San Jose State.

Landale is shooting 75 percent (36 of 48) for the Gaels (4-0). He went 9 for 10 and also had seven rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots.

Emmett Naar added 16 points and Joe Rahon contributed eight points, seven assists, five rebounds and three blocks for Saint Mary's, which holds its highest ranking in the AP poll since it was 15th in 1959.

Ryan Welage scored 17 points for San Jose State (1-3), which hung tough with the West Coast Conference favorite for most of the game but couldn't avoid a third straight defeat.

No. 16 WISCONSIN 73, GEORGETOWN 57

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Ethan Happ had 19 points and 15 rebounds, Bronson Koenig scored 20 points and Wisconsin advanced to the Maui Invitational championship game with a win over Georgetown.

The Badgers (4-1) went 5 for 22 from 3-point range, but made up for it by outscoring the Hoyas 38-16 in the paint. Wisconsin also had a 50-21 rebounding advantage and scored 19 second-chance points on 20 offensive boards.

The Badgers moved on to face No. 4 North Carolina in Wednesday night's championship game.

LJ Peak led Georgetown (2-3) with 18 points.

No. 17 PURDUE 85, UTAH STATE 64

CANCUN, Mexico (AP) — Isaac Haas scored 26 points and Dakota Mathias added 25, both career highs, as Purdue upended Utah State in the Cancun Challenge.

Haas and Mathias took over in the second half, when they combined for 32 points on 12-of-13 shooting to help the Boilermakers (3-1) pull away after leading 39-27 at halftime. Mathias shot 6 of 7 on 3-pointers.

Alexis Dargenton led the Aggies (3-1) with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Caleb Swanigan chipped in with 15 points for the Boilermakers, who connected 11 times from 3-point range.

No. 18 SYRACUSE 101, SOUTH CAROLINA STATE 59

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Andrew White scored 15 points and Syracuse held South Carolina State to 27 percent shooting.

Tyler Lydon had 14 points and 10 rebounds, one of three players who finished with a double-double for the Orange (4-0). He was 4 of 5 from 3-point range.

Frank Howard had 10 points, 11 assists and only one turnover. Tyler Roberson had 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Six players scored in double figures for Syracuse, and five hit at least one 3. John Gillon scored 14 points and Taurean Thompson tied his career high with 12.

Thompson and Paschal Chukwu each had four of Syracuse's 11 blocks.

Ozante Fields led the Bulldogs (1-3) with 11 points.

Syracuse went 13 of 24 (54.2 percent) from 3-point territory and 37 of 68 overall (54.4 percent).

COLORADO 68, No. 22 TEXAS 54

NEW YORK (AP) — George King had 12 points and 13 rebounds to lead Colorado over Texas in the third-place game of the Legends Classic at Barclays Center.

King led the big rebounding game for the Buffaloes (4-1), who finished with a 41-32 advantage on the boards including 17-12 on the offensive glass. Colorado scored 18 second-chance points.

Derrick White had 16 points for Colorado, which lost to Notre Dame in the semifinals.

Kerwin Roach Jr. led Texas (3-2) with 16 points, and Jarrett Allen had 15. The Longhorns lost to Northwestern in the semifinals.
