Women's NCAA Tournament on Thursday: Streaming, matchups, TV info for March Madness games tonight

The First Four of the women's NCAA Tournament continues when Purdue and St. John's and Tennessee Tech and Monmouth battle for bids in the field of 64.

The women's tournament expanded to 68 teams last year and, unlike the men's tournament where the First Four is held in one location, the women are playing at campus host sites.

Four teams – Saint Louis, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Utah and Sacramento State – are going dancing for the first time all in hopes of making some noise in the tournament. The field will be looking to knock off defending national champion and undefeated South Carolina, which has spent the entire season ranked No. 1.

When do Thursday's women's First Four games start?

Thursday's first game will start at 7 p.m. ET from Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The second game tips off at 9 p.m. ET from Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana.

Who is playing in Thursday's women's First Four games?

In the first matchup, two No. 11 seeds square off when Purdue takes on St. John's, with the winner advancing to play sixth-seeded North Carolina on Saturday in Round of 64 in Columbus.

The second game will feature a pair of No. 16 seeds with Ohio Valley Conference Tournament champ Tennessee Tech against Monmouth of the Colonial Athletic Association, which is making its first NCAA appearance since 1983. The winner of this game stays in Bloomington to take on Indiana, the top seed in Greenville Regional 2.

Who is broadcasting and streaming Thursday's women's First Four games? 

Both games will be televised on ESPN2. Sam Gore and Kim Adams are the broadcasters for Purdue-St. John's with Brenda VanLengen and Holly Warlick calling the action for Monmouth and Tennessee Tech.
