UConn's campaign to defend their crown starts Friday.
The No. 1 seeded Huskies will start their NCAA men's basketball tournament when they face the No. 16 Stetson Hatters in Brooklyn as a part of the second day of first round play.
The top overall seed Huskies rolled Marquette in the Big East championship game and finished with a 31-3 record. Stetson is making its big dance debut after taking home the Atlantic Sun Conference crown and posting a 22-12 record.
Only two No. 16 seeds have knocked off No. 1 seeds in the tournament — FDU in 2023 and UMBC in 2018.
