A peek behind the curtain: One coach reveals his ballot

Air Force's Troy Calhoun has agreed to reveal his coaches poll ballot each week to USA TODAY Sports
He sticks with idle Alabama as his top-ranked team
Although no Big Ten teams appear in the top 25, Calhoun has three on his ballot

Troy Calhoun is in his sixth season as head football coach at Air Force, his alma mater. Calhoun also is a voter in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

Air Force coach Troy Calhoun has three SEC teams -- Alabama, South Carolina and Florida --- among his top five.

Although ballots in the poll generally are not revealed until the final vote of the regular season in December, Calhoun has been providing his weekly ballot to The Gazette of Colorado Springs the last couple of years. He agreed this year to also reveal his vote each week for USA TODAY Sports.
