AP

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) β€” Georgetown's Michael Billings picked up a blocked punt and ran it in for a touchdown to lead the South to a 23-18 victory over the North in the South Carolina All-Star Football game on Saturday.

After a botched snap on a North punt attempt with less than two minutes remaining, the kick was blocked. Georgetown senior Michael Billings picked it up and trotted into the end zone.

The North squad has won 10 of the last 11 games in the series and leads the all-time series 38-27-2.

Dutch Fork running back Matthew Colburn was named South Carolina's Mr. Football 2014. Colburn, who has committed to Louisville, ran for 1,264 yards and 24 touchdowns and helped the Silver Foxes to back-to-back state championship game appearances.
