Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Florida State Seminoles: Live stream, time, date, how to watch

Florida State plays host to Notre Dame on Sunday night as college football takes advantage of the long weekend with the NFL still a week from kicking off its season.

This matchup of nationally-known programs with large fanbases features plenty of storylines to follow.

The Fighting Irish, coming off an appearance in the College Football Playoff a season ago, are hoping to maintain their winning ways. They’ll have a lot of new faces on the team. One of those is graduate transfer Jack Coan, a former Wisconsin Badger, who will succeed Ian Book at quarterback.

The Seminoles haven’t enjoyed nearly as much success over the last three years but hope to take another step back toward national prominence with a strong showing in prime time. In one of the year’s feel-good stories, McKenzie Milton could return to the field nearly three years after sustaining a horrific leg injury while quarterbacking Central Florida. Milton is listed as co-starter with Jordan Travis on FSU’s depth chart with both likely to take snaps during the game.

Notre Dame quarterback Jack Coan hands off to running back Kyren Williams in the first quarter of May's Blue-Gold Game at Notre Dame Stadium.
