HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) β€” Moriah Jefferson scored 18 points to lead No. 2 Connecticut to an 83-52 win over No. 10 Duke on Monday night.

The junior point guard, who had a career-high 24 points against SMU on Saturday, hit six of her eight shots and was 3 of 4 from 3-point range. She also had four assists.

Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and Breanna Stewart each scored 14 points and Morgan Tuck added 13 for the Huskies (10-1), who have won nine straight since a November loss at No. 15 Stanford.

Freshman forward Azura Stevens led Duke (8-4) with 16 points. Elizabeth Williams added 15.

The game was tied at 22, but the Huskies led by seven at halftime and stretched the lead over the final 20 minutes.

This was the 14th and last scheduled meeting between the teams. UConn has won 11 of those games and eight in a row.

WASHINGTON 70, No. 5 TEXAS A&M 49

SEATTLE (AP) β€” Kelsey Plum scored 20 of her 32 points in the first half, Talia Walton added a season-high 21 and Washington picked up its biggest non-conference regular-season win in nearly two decades with a victory over Texas A&M.

Washington (11-1) won its 11th straight, the longest winning streak for the Huskies since the 1989-90 season. Washington's last win over a ranked non-conference opponent came in 1997 when the Huskies beat then-No. 5 Vanderbilt.

Plum nearly outscored the Aggies (11-2) by herself in the first half. The nation's leading scorer hit a trio of 3-pointers as the Huskies built a 40-22 halftime advantage. Aminah Williams added nine points and 15 rebounds. Williams scored seven straight in the second half after Texas A&M cut Washington's lead to nine.

Courtney Williams led the Aggies with 19 points.

The Aggies lost their second straight after falling to No. 3 Texas on Dec. 21. Texas A&M had won 24 in a row against non-conference opponents.

No. 6 BAYLOR 108, PRAIRIE VIEW A&M 64

WACO, Texas (AP) β€” Nina Davis had 20 points and 10 rebounds in leading Baylor past Prairie View A&M.

Kristina Higgins scored 19 points for Baylor (11-1), which outrebounded Prairie View 70-21. Khadijiah Cave had 18 points, freshman Dekeiya Cohen added 17 and Sune Agbuke finished with 12 for the Bears.

Davis, a sophomore, had her 16th career double-double and fourth this season.

Jeanette Jackson and Lamaria Cole each scored 20 points for Prairie View (3-9).

No. 7 LOUISVILLE 73, EVANSVILLE 51

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) β€” Jude Schimmel and Emmonnie Henderson scored 12 points apiece to lead Louisville over Evansville.

The Cardinals (12-1) scored the game's first 13 points, all off turnovers. They kept the pressure going throughout the first half to force 15 turnovers by Evansville (5-6) in the first 20 minutes, leading to 23 of their 41 points.

Louisville outrebounded Evansville 45-26, led by Henderson's nine. About the only area where the Cardinals struggled was from the perimeter, as they shot just 2 of 15 on 3-pointers.

Sara Dickey led the Purple Aces with 14 points.

MINNESOTA 72, No. 12 NEBRASKA 69

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) β€” Amanda Zahui B. scored 20 points β€” including a pair of free throws with 6 seconds left β€” and blocked a last-second shot to secure Minnesota's win over Nebraska in the Big Ten opener for both teams.

Zahui B. was 7 of 11 from the floor and added 15 rebounds. Shayne Mullaney had 18 points for Minnesota (12-1).

Nebraska (10-2) led 67-61 with 2:46 left after Tear'a Laudermilk's 3-pointer. But Minnesota clawed back with a 9-0 run, including a jumper and pair of free throws from Shae Kelley, to take a three-point lead with 17 seconds left.

Emily Cady paced Nebraska with 21 points and 14 rebounds.

No. 14 MARYLAND 87, OHIO STATE 78

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) β€” Brionna Jones had 23 points and a career-high 14 rebounds as Maryland won its inaugural Big Ten game by defeating Ohio State in the conference opener for both teams.

Jones scored seven of Maryland's last 10 points down the stretch to help hold off the Buckeyes, who had closed to 77-73 on Cait Craft's 3-pointer with 2:43 left.

Laurin Mincy also had a double-double for the Terrapins (10-2), finishing with 14 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Shatori Walker-Kimbrough added 18 points and nine rebounds. Maryland had a 59-37 edge on the glass.

Ameryst Alston scored 22 points for Ohio State (8-5).

No. 17 MISSISSIPPI STATE 83, ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF 26

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) β€” Victoria Vivians scored 16 points with nine rebounds and Breanna Richardson added 14 points as unbeaten Mississippi State stormed past Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

The Bulldogs (15-0) improved to 10-0 at Humphrey Coliseum and are off to the best start in school history. They racked up a 10-point lead less than five minutes into the game and had a 40-9 advantage over the Golden Lions (2-9) at halftime.

Mississippi State tied a season high with 10 blocked shots, with Martha Alwal swatting five. The Bulldogs completed an undefeated pre-conference slate for only the second time.

The Golden Lions shot 9 of 59 with 33 turnovers.

No. 18 OKLAHOMA STATE 89, NORTHWESTERN STATE 44

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) β€” Liz Donohoe scored 15 points, Brittany Atkins added 14 and Oklahoma State ended its non-conference schedule with a win over Northwestern State.

The Cowgirls (10-1) never struggled, opening with a 30-5 run and leading 50-20 at halftime. LaShawn Jones, Roshunda Johnson and Kaylee Jensen each scored 12, and Brittney Martin added 10. Johnson also had six assists and five steals.

Oklahoma State shot 59.7 percent from the field while holding Northwestern State (5-6) to 30.2 percent.

Janelle Perez led the Lady Demons with 13 points. Northwestern State took 27 of its 53 field goal attempts from beyond the arc, making nine.
