The Sweet 16 of the women's NCAA Tournament has not been lacking for drama.

Saturday saw the first No. 1 seed get knocked out of the tourney as No. 4 Indiana defeated North Carolina State to advance to the Elite Eight for the first time. Arizona also earned its program's first Elite Eight berth Saturday as the third-ranked Wildcats took down No. 2 Texas A&M behind a brilliant game from Aari McDonald.

The early action saw No. 2 Baylor clip Michigan in overtime, 78-75. And in the first game of the day, UConn defeated Iowa in a much-hyped battle of freshmen phenoms

Sunday features four more Sweet 16 games with the potential for great theater. Powerhouses South Carolina and Stanford face challenges from a pair of No. 5 seeds, while Oregon and Louisville face off in a battle of perennial strong teams. In the nightcap, No. 2 Maryland β€“ the highest-scoring team in women's college basketball β€“ takes on No. 6 Texas.
