  • Atlanta wideout has never missed an NFL game
  • Baltimore dresses Suggs (torn biceps) hoping he can make impact
  • Rams' Amendola, Vikings' Winfield could face off

ATLANTA β€” Roddy White is starting for the Atlanta Falcons against the New York Giants after missing practice all week with a sore right knee.

White, the Falcons' leader with 1,140 yards receiving on 77 catches, continues his streak of not missing a game since he was drafted in 2005.

Chris Hope will start at safety for William Moore, who is inactive with injured ribs.

Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks also is active after being limited in practice by a knee injury. As expected, the Giants are without leading rusher Ahmad Bradshaw due to lingering knee and foot problems.

David Wilson is starting at running back.

Cornerback Prince Amukamara (hamstring) and safeties Kenny Phillips (knee) and Tyler Sash (hamstring) also are inactive for New York. Jayron Holsey is starting for Amukamara.

***

BALTIMORE β€” Safety Bernard Pollard and linebackers Jameel McClain and Dannell Ellerbe are inactive for the Ravens against the Broncos, but Baltimore's depleted defense hopes to have Terrell Suggs back after a one-game absence with a torn right biceps.

Pollard has a chest injury, Ellerbe has been bothered by a sprained ankle and McClain is hindered by a neck injury. Josh Bynes is expected to start at middle linebacker; Ray Lewis (torn triceps) was ruled out Saturday.

James Ihedigbo is slated to start for Pollard, and Yanda (ankle) is being replaced by Bobbie Williams at right guard.

Ravens tight end Ed Dickson (knee) is also inactive.

Denver's inactives include guard Chris Kuper (ankle), running back Lance Ball, receiver Andre Caldwell, tight end Julius Thomas, defensive tackle Sealver Siliga and cornerback Tracy Porter.

***

OAKLAND β€” Rolando McClain is inactive for the Oakland Raiders in his first game back from a two-game suspension.

Defensive tackle Richard Seymour is also inactive for the Raiders on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs with a hamstring injury that has sidelined him for six games.

McClain returned this week from a suspension for conduct detrimental to the team after being demoted to second string but will miss the game.

Wide receiver Steve Breaston is inactive for the Chiefs despite starter Dwayne Bowe being placed on injured reserve earlier in the week.

GLENDALE, Ariz. β€” Defensive tackle Nick Fairley and tight end Brandon Pettigrew were among the inactives for the Detroit Lions against Arizona on Sunday.

Nose tackle Dan Williams was among the Cardinals' players sitting out the game.

Neither Fairley (shoulder) nor Pettigrew (ankle) practiced last week and both had been listed as doubtful. Sammie Hill started in place of Fairley and Will Heller was the starting tight end instead of Pettigrew.

David Carter took over at nose tackle for Williams, who was limited in practice on Friday with a groin injury and had been listed as questionable.

Safety James Sanders (calf) and wide receiver Early Doucet (concussion) also were inactive for Arizona.

SAN DIEGO β€” San Diego Chargers wide receiver Eddie Royal and running back Ronnie Brown are inactive for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Also inactive are linebackers Donald Butler and Demorrio Williams, tackle Jeromy Clary, guard Tyrone Green and tight end Ladarius Green.

Royal, signed to help replace Vincent Jackson, has a hamstring injury and is missing his fourth straight game and sixth overall.

Inactive for the Panthers are quarterback Jimmy Clausen, wide receiver David Gettis, running back Jonathan Stewart, linebacker James Anderson, center Geoff Hangartner, tackle Bruce Campbell and defensive tackle Dwan Edwards.

CHICAGO β€” Two days after missing practice with a hip injury, Green Bay Packers right guard Josh Sitton is in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Left tackle T.J. Lang is also back after missing last weekend's game with an ankle injury. Lang had been moved to right tackle after Bryan Bulaga suffered a season-ending hip injury last month. Don Barclay starts at right tackle.

Charles Woodson had already been ruled out for the game. Green Bay's other inactives are RB James Starks, LB Terrell Manning, WRs Jordy Nelson and Donald Driver, TE D.J. Williams and DE C.J. Wilson.

DT Henry Melton and DE Shea McClellin are inactive for the Bears. LBs Brian Urlacher and Geno Hayes, CB Tim Jennings, WR Earl Bennett and QB Josh McCown are also out for Chicago.

***

ST. LOUIS β€” Wide receiver Danny Amendola is active for the St. Louis Rams for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings after missing two games with a right heel injury.

Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield is active after being questionable with a knee injury.

Amendola leads the Rams with 51 receptions with an 11.3-yard average and two touchdowns despite missing five games overall. He was probable after practicing throughout the week.

The 35-year-old Winfield was limited in practice Friday. Coach Leslie Frazier had expected Winfield to be in the lineup but that he'd consider limiting the cornerback's playing time.

Wide receiver Steve Smith is among the Rams inactives.

***

HOUSTON β€” Indianapolis starting offensive linemen Samson Satele and Winston Justice are inactive against the Houston Texans.

Colts interim coach Bruce Arians said earlier this week that Satele (ankle), a center, and right tackle Justice (biceps) would not travel with the team to Houston. A.Q. Shipley will start at center and Jeff Linkenbach at tackle. Left guard Joe Reitz, who missed last week's game with a head injury, will start for the Colts.

Houston cornerback Alan Ball will miss his third straight game with a sore foot, and linebacker Brooks Reed (groin) is also inactive as expected.

Also inactive for Indianapolis are safety Tom Zbikowski, running back Delone Carter, linebacker Kavell Conner, defensive end Clifton Geathers and receiver Nathan Palmer. Houston's other inactives were running back Jonathan Grimes, guard Antoine Caldwell, guard Cody White, nose tackle Terrell McClain and tackle Andrew Gardner.

NEW ORLEANS β€” The New Orleans Saints have scratched two healthy veterans who were regulars earlier this season, linebacker Scott Shanle and defensive end Turk McBride, for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.

Shanle is missing his fifth straight game and McBride his second straight. New Orleans' other healthy scratches are reserve tight end Michael Higgins and reserve defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker. Several injured Saints, running back Chris Ivory (hamstring), right tackle Zach Strief (right ankle) and cornerback Corey White (left knee), already had been ruled out.

Tampa Bay deactivated cornerback LeQuan Lewis (left knee), who had been listed as questionable, and scratched six other healthy players: running back Michael Smith, linebacker Najee Goode, guard Roger Allen, receiver David Douglas, defensive tackle Corey Irvin and defensive tackle Matthew Masifilo.

MIAMI β€” Third-year pro Marlon Moore will make his first career start at receiver for the Miami Dolphins against Jacksonville in place of Davone Bess, who is inactive with a back injury.

The game Sunday is the first Bess has missed in his five-year career. Receiver Armon Binns, awarded to the Dolphins off waivers Monday, was active.

Receiver Cecil Shorts was active for Jacksonville after missing last week's game because of a concussion. Austin Pasztor, activated Friday from the practice squad, started at left guard.

Montell Owens made his second consecutive start at running back for the Jaguars.

Seven Dolphins who had been listed as probable were active, including receiver Brian Hartline, linebacker Karlos Dansby and safety Chris Clemons.

TORONTO β€” Bills receiver Donald Jones is out for Buffalo's game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Jones is nursing a calf injury that has forced him to miss two of the past three games. He is the Bills second-leading receiver with 41 catches for 443 yards and four touchdowns.

Buffalo is also missing defensive back/punt returner Leodis McKelvin because of a groin injury.

Jeremy Lane started at cornerback for Seattle. Cornerbacks that are out are Walter Thurmond (hamstring), Marcus Trufant (hamstring) and Brandon Browner (suspension).
