Offensive weapons will be the story of the Atlanta Falcons' Week 2 preseason matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

After missing Week 1 game against the Tennessee Titans, Falcons rookie tight end Kyle Pitts is expected to make his debut Saturday. The Dolphins selected Pitts at No. 4 in the 2021 NFL draft, and the 6-foot-6 tight end has the ability to make an immediate impact.

He'll also be working alongside star wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who held the Falcons together while Julio Jones struggled with injuries last season. Ridley looked excellent during joint practices with the Dolphins this week, per multiple reports, and Falcons head coach Arthur Smith has praised Pitts' performance during training camp.

However, the Dolphins defense will be a good test for the Falcons' offensive chemistry. The Dolphins finished last season in the top 10 in several defensive statistical categories, including a No. 6 scoring defense ranking. They also brought in several new pieces, including rookie pass rusher Jaelan Phillips.

Miami Dolphins running back Patrick Laird and running back Salvon Ahmed run a drill during training camp at Baptist Health Training Complex.
