Eli Manningâs hips donât lie.
Itâs the news you didnât know you needed to know, following the third edition of the Peyton and Eli broadcast between the Manning brothers on "Monday Night Football."
Both quarterbacks were discussing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescottâs pregame routine warming up his hips, and it was enough to provoke Eli from getting up from his couch and mimicking the action.
âThese hips don't lie. I'm like Shakira,â Eli said. âThese hips donât lie, Peyton.â
Eli tried his best to show Peyton how the workout helps Prescott open his hips to create torque for his throws.

And Peyton couldnât help himself, getting a joke off at his little brotherâs expense.
âYour boys medium jeans are kinda keeping you from really kinda getting turned,â Peyton said.
Week 3 just reaffirmed what weâve learned from Peyton and Eli Manning during their first two weeks.
Why would anyone go back to watching "Monday Night Football" any other way?
Well, fans will have to wait until Week 7 to see Peyton and Eli again. After three weeks, theyâll return to ESPN2 when the Seattle Seahawks host the New Orleans Saints.
Cute bro moment
It may not be often that the Manning brothers show each other some affection publicly, but this moment was too cute to pass up.
Before the first major highlight in Week 3, Peyton took a moment to congratulate Eli for being inducted into the New York Giants Hall of Fame on Sunday.
âThatâs awesome, bro. Iâm proud of you,â Peyton said.
âThank you, bro,â Eli said.
It was lighthearted and heartwarming moment between the Manning brothers before they quickly got back to their script.

Some love for the Patriots
One week after Peyton and Eli joked about the Patriotsâ practice of illegally taping opponents, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick both sent a recorded congratulations message to Eli for his achievement.
Peyton made light of the timely congratulations, too, with Brady set to make his return to New England in Week 4.
âYouâre a healer. Youâre a bonder, bro,â Peyton said to Eli for bringing Brady and Belichick together for the tribute.
And Eli took it a step further from there, as weâve seen he loves to do at times, during these broadcasts.
âThey still bring up the â07 Super Bowl. Theyâre still mad about that,â Eli said. âTheyâre bitter. Iâm glad I can bring them together to have something to talk about.â
LeBron in the NFL?
One of Peyton and Eliâs guest in Week 3 was LeBron James. And the conversation quickly and naturally turned to Jamesâ ability to play in the NFL if he wasnât in the NBA.
James recalled Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll offered him a contract during the NBA lockout in 2011. He still has a Cowboys and Seahawks jersey from the proposals.
âI definitely thought about it,â James told the Mannings. âI wanted to be a red zone specialist like Gronk.â
Peyton could not help but salivate about the thought of throwing to James if they could have played together.
âI would've thrown so many touchdowns to LeBron,â Peyton said.
A few plays after the sequence, James correctly predicted the Cowboys should hand the football off to running back Ezekiel Elliott for a touchdown run.
And another golden nugget from Eli:
âLeBron is much better at predicting plays than Peyton,â Eli said.
James also roasted his high school quarterback, saying if he had a better one, he might have stuck to playing football.
âI took way too many hits that led me to the basketball court,â James said.
Matthew Stafford joins the show
Peyton and Eli welcomed Rams quarterback Matt Stafford to the show in the first quarter, fresh off his win over Brady and the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Peyton and Stafford were visibly shocked when Prescottâs quarterback sneak at the goal line was not ruled a touchdown early in the second quarter.
They didnât have to wait long to congratulate Prescott when he responded with a touchdown pass to tight end Dalton Schultz later in the quarter.
Peyton threw his hands in the air to signal the call while Stafford was also happy to see the outcome.
âAtta boy, Dak,â Stafford said.
Quarterbacks cheering on other quarterbacks. You love to see it.
Nick Saban joins the show
If you were looking for Peyton and Eli to get an inappropriate joke out of Nick Saban, you might have been disappointed.
But Saban, the renown Alabama coach, joined the broadcast during the third quarter, which also saw Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts throw a touchdown pass.
Eli joked Hurts was the âOklahoma quarterbackâ making light of Hurtsâ transfer to the school from Alabama. Saban had a quick chuckle, while Eli laughed at his own joke more.
The Mannings touched on a number of topics with Saban, like Alabamaâs 73 players in the NFL, Sabanâs thoughts of being in the box or on the sidelines coaching defense, and Eli joining Saban for some water tubing last month.
âIâve never heard a 60-year-old giggle so much,â Eli said of Saban, who took some joy in getting Eli to flip off the tube off the back of his boat.
Moment of the night
Eli saw the opportunity and took full advantage.
The broadcast shared a tweet from Rodger Sherman, a writer at Ringer, which read: âat this point Iâm like 80 percent sure that Eli currently lives at home with his parents.â
âYes. About time they come after you,â Peyton said.
Eliâs response? An ode to âWedding Crashers.â
âMa, Meatloaf!â
Eli gives the double birds
Former Eagles defensive end Chris Long was the final guest in the fourth quarter, and the conversation got to Eliâs reaction from Philadelphia fans during his career.
âYouâre getting the double bird right away from a 9-year-old kid ...â
And Eli proceeded to stick up both of his middle fingers on national television.
âI would give the bird. Can we do that? Iâm sure you can blur that out right?â Eli says after the gesture.
When the broadcast came back from commercial break, Eli issued an apology.
âSorry. I guess thatâs frowned upon,â Eli said. âSorry if I offended anybody.â
