NFL Sunday came with tricks and treats this Halloween.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, a trick play in the first half ended with an injured kicker, not a touchdown. The treat ultimately came later for the Steelers, who overcame the faux pas to beat the Cleveland Browns, 15-10.

New York Jets backup quarterback Mike White delivered the sweetest treat to Jets fans with a surprising 34-31 win over the Bengals.

But the real fun happened before the games as players around the league embraced the spooky spirit with a wide variety of Halloween costumes.

This amusing display of about a dozen skeletons mocking the winless Detroit Lions’ football team covers the front lawn at 5585 N. Stony Creek Rd., Newport. Not visible is a skeleton standing about 10 feet tall. The Lions dipped to 0-7 following a 28-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams Sunday.

QBs' worst nightmare

Two-time Pro Bowler Myles Garrett added another sack Sunday in the Browns' loss to the Steelers. Though his defensive efforts weren't enough to push the Browns to victory, Garrett made headlines with his choice of Halloween costume.
