Nick Saban coached Dolphins to last previous shutout of Tom Brady
The New Orleans Saints shut down Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on "Sunday Night Football" in Tampa, Florida.
The 9-0 loss marked the third time the GOAT had been shut out in 313 NFL starts. It snapped a streak of 255 games when Brady had not been blanked.
In fact, the last time a team Brady quarterbacked was blanked, Nick Saban was coach of the Miami Dolphins (in 2006).
Tom Brady had been shut out twice in his career but never in a home game.

Buffalo's coach that year was Gregg Williams.
On Dec. 10, 2006, the Miami Dolphins stymied Brady and the Patriots 21-0.
Miami came into the game 5-7 and New England was 9-3. It was Saban's last year as a head coach in Miami and the NFL.
Brady was 12-of-25 for 78 yards. He was sacked four times for 20 yards in losses.
The opposing quarterback was Joey Harrington, who went 18-of-30 for 190 yards and a TD pass.

That brings us to Sunday, when the GOAT was shut out by a power New Orleans defense.
Brady was 26-of-48 for 214 yards with a pick in an overall dismal evening.
