Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 1 matchup
To kick off their 2022 NFL regular season, Josh Allen's Buffalo Bills take a trip across the country to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams, fresh off a Super Bowl victory in September, start their quest to repeat against a team billed as a favorite to reach the big game this season. Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp lead a Rams offense supported by Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey on defense. Meanwhile, Allen and star receiver Stefon Diggs look to take the Bills to the next level, beginning with Thursday night's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff at SoFi Stadium.

Super Bowl predictions:Season predictions from USA TODAY staff: Super Bowl 57, playoffs, MVP and more
Lorenzo Reyes: Rams 29, Bills 26
I like this Bills team a ton, but they are certainly being overvalued heading into the season. And while Buffalo is a certain Super Bowl contender, L.A.’s defensive line is capable of bringing pressure on the edges and up the middle, just the things that can make Josh Allen uncomfortable.
Safid Deen: Bills 31, Rams 24
Winning the Super Bowl is one thing. The grind to repeat is another. I think Josh Allen and the Bills are poised to climb that mountain like the Rams did last season, and they put the league on notice in the season opener.
Lance Pugmire: Bills 28, Rams 24
Admit it or not, a cloud of contentment hovers over the defending champion. Conversely, if any team feels the fire of a title run it’s the Bills, following that Chiefs’ loss.
Jarrett Bell: Rams 27, Bills 24
Nate Davis: Bills 31, Rams 23
Tyler Dragon: Rams 27, Bills 24
Parker Gabriel: Bills 28, Rams 24
Mike Jones: Rams 33, Bills 30
