Bengals RB Giovani Bernard out for season with torn ACL

A.J. Green wasn’t the only offensive star the Cincinnati Bengals lost on Sunday.

Running back Giovani Bernard tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and is done for the season, a person with knowledge of the injury told USA TODAY Sports.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly.

Green suffered a hamstring injury that’s believed to be significant.

It was part of a brutal day in Cincinnati, where a 16-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills dropped the Bengals to 3-6-1.
