Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard (94) is introduced before the first quarter of the NFL Week 18 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns at Paycor Stadium in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard threw out the first pitch before the Cincinnati Reds' game against the Detroit Tigers on Friday.

Taking the mound at Great American Ball Park, the former Moeller High School star threw the pitch to a fellow Moeller product -- relief pitcher Brent Suter.

Friday's game was the series opener, where the Reds went down in 5-4 fashion to snap a three-game winning streak.

It should go without saying, but Hubbard -- who has admitted he played through injury last season -- earned major praise from the crowd.

Here is a look at some of the media from Hubbard's big moment.
