The Browns are conducting virtual meetings on Monday because a player on their active roster reported symptoms like those of COVID-19.

The team released the following statement:

β€œThe Cleveland Browns are conducting their football meetings remotely today. This morning, an active player who has not been in the facility today reported that he is experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms. While there have been no positive test results among players, coaches or staff members, the team decided to host meetings remotely to exercise the appropriate level of caution.”

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski had been scheduled to address reporters at noon via Zoom, but his media availability has been delayed until 2 p.m.

The Browns (5-3) have a bye this week and aren't scheduled to play again until Nov. 15 against the Houston Texans (1-6).
