Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield posted on his IG story Sunday night that he remains asymptomatic after testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday and hopes to test negative Monday.

The Browns (7-6) host the Las Vegas Raiders (6-7) at 5 p.m. Monday at FirstEnergy Stadium in a game crucial to Cleveland’s playoff hopes. With a victory, the Browns would move into first place in the AFC North.

The game was postponed from Saturday, and Browns players have until 2 p.m. Monday to produce a negative test and be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

“Blessed to be healthy and have had no symptoms, Praying to test negative for COVID,” Mayfield wrote, followed by three praying hands emojis.

A person with knowledge of the situation told the USA TODAY Network on Wednesday that Mayfield was vaccinated and asymptomatic, but there had been no further indication of how he was feeling since. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to reveal medical information.

As of Sunday evening, the Browns had 23 players and three coaches — including coach Kevin Stefanski — on the list. That also includes backup quarterback Case Keenum. Third-stringer Nick Mullens was called up from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement on Thursday. Signed on Sept. 1, Mullens had his first practice with the starting unit on Saturday.

One who is not faring as well as Mayfield is Browns strong safety Ronnie Harrison Jr., who tested positive Friday. Harrison posted on Twitter Sunday, “Covid a (expletive) ... got me feeling like I’m under a spell or sum,” followed by two laughing and two crying emojis.

The AFC North remains up for grabs, with the Cincinnati Bengals (8-6) in the lead after Sunday's 15-10 road victory over the Denver Broncos. The Baltimore Ravens (8-6) lost 31-30 to the Green Bay Packers (11-3) Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.

If the Browns beat the Raiders, their 8-6 record would tie the Ravens and Bengals. The Browns have the head-to-head tiebreaker edge on the Bengals by virtue of a 41-16 victory in Cincinnati on Nov. 7. Division record is the second tiebreaker and the Browns are 2-2, the Ravens 1-3.

The Browns play the Packers on Christmas Day in Lambeau Field, followed by games at Pittsburgh on Jan. 3 and at home against the Bengals on Jan. 9.
