Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen uninjured in car accident in Los Angeles

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen was in a car accident over the weekend. 

The team's first-round pick from 2018 escaped calamity, though the same couldn't quite be said of his prized vehicle.

Rosen, 22, posted a photo of his Tesla on his Instagram account with a dent in the rear driver's side door.

In the post he wrote, "I’m okay... but 😢"

Rosen won 3 of 13 starts in his rookie season, passing for 2,278 yards, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Despite the uneven performance, new head coach Kliff Kingsbury has expressed unwavering support despite speculation that Arizona could use the No. 1 pick of the 2019 draft on Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray, who used to play for Kingsbury at Texas Tech.

The Cardinals official site said the accident happened on Saturday and that there were no injuries.

Rosen posted a second photo on Instagram of a friend acting like he had inflicted the damage to the car with a punch.
