Chiefs ban fan who pointed laser at Tom Brady, per report

The Kansas City Chiefs have identified and banned the fan who pointed a laser at New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in late January's AFC Championship Game, according to ESPN

Kansas City television station KMBC posted videos after the Patriots' 37-31 overtime win that showed multiple instances of a light appearing on Brady's face, both before a snap and during a play itself.

ESPN reported that the fan had been barred from Arrowhead Stadium for life.

The NFL confirmed to USA TODAY Sports on Jan. 22 that it was "looking into" the issue.

Brady completed 30 of 46 passes for 348 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions on the day to power the Patriots into a Super Bowl LIII matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
