New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers is motivated heading into the 2024 season, even though he'll be playing on an expiring contract. He posted a story on Instagram in which he shared his goals for the upcoming season.

“Contract year, watch how I make some [expletive] shake," Peppers posted.

Peppers reported 78 combined tackles, two interceptions and a sack last season.

This will be a big year for the veteran defensive back in his efforts to lock down a new long-term deal. He was originally brought to New England as a free agent in 2022. He quickly became one of the pillars of the New England defense and found a role alongside Kyle Dugger.

Time will tell if that pillar continues to stand after the 2024 season. The Patriots run the risk of losing Peppers if they aren't able to agree to an extension before free agency next year.
