Saints head coach Sean Payton smashed a fire alarm in the visiting team locker room at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton looks up at the scoreboard in the fourth quarter of a Week 10 NFL game between the New Orleans Saints and the Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. The New Orleans Saints won 51-14.

The incident happened prior to the Saints' 51-14 victory against the Bengals when the fire alarm had gone off everywhere inside the stadium for about 15 minutes.

This came as New Orleans was trying to get prepared for the game and the report which first surfaced on Nola.com indicated Payton took matters into his own hands.

The Bengals offered a statement on their knowledge of the situation.

"We are aware of the situation and have been in touch with the authorities, we have nothing further at this time," the Bengals said in their statement.
