The Oakland Raiders found a trade partner for quarterback Terrelle Pryor on Monday, shipping him to the Seattle Seahawks for a seventh-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

The Raiders confirmed the deal in a release.

The Raiders acquired Matt Schaub to be their starting quarterback in the offseason, all but signaling the end of Pryor's time in Oakland. With the offseason program set to begin Tuesday, there was urgency to sort out his future.

In Seattle, Pryor enters no better than third on the depth chart behind starter Russell Wilson and No. 2 Tarvaris Jackson, who just signed a fully guaranteed $1.25 million deal for 2014 last month.

"Terrelle is an incredibly explosive athlete and we're excited for him to come in and compete," said John Schneider, Seahawks executive vice president of football operations and general manager.

In 15 career games (10 starts), Pryor has completed 56.3% of his passes for 1,953 yards, nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He was a third-round pick in the 2011 supplemental draft and the last pick of late Raiders owner Al Davis.
