Sonny Milano and Dylan Larkin scored for the second day in a row Monday as the USA beat Slovakia 3-0 to remain unbeaten at the world junior championships.

Boston College goalie Thatcher Demko made 17 saves for the shutout.

"I was proud of our effort, especially coming back after having played last night," said U.S. coach Mark Osiecki. "We continue to make strides as a team and that's important as we move along in the tournament."

Larkin, drafted in the first round by the Detroit Red Wings in June, added an assist to give him five points in the last two games.

Forward John Hayden, a Chicago Blackhawks prospect, also scored for the USA.

The USA will face Canada on Wednesday in a highly anticipated matchup between American Jack Eichel and Canadian Connor McDavid, who are expected to be taken in the first two picks in the 2015 draft.
