Hooligans attack Henrik Larsson's son after relegation

STOCKHOLM (AP) β€” Swedish officials are considering tougher measures against hooligans after Helsingborg supporters stormed the field and attacked Henrik Larsson's son after the team was relegated from the top division in Sweden.

The incident happened Sunday after Helsingborg's 2-1 loss to Halmstad. Masked hooligans mobbed Jordan Larsson and pulled off his shirt before team officials and security officials pushed them back. He wasn't injured.

Interior Minister Anders Ygeman on Monday called for raised security at soccer stadiums.

Larsson gave Helsingborg the lead but Halmstad scored twice to turn the match around, sending Helsingborg to Sweden's second division for the first time since 1992.

Henrik Larsson, a former Celtic and Sweden great, coaches the team where his 19-year-old son plays as a striker.
